Health and Dignity for All Fair
Free Medical Fair at Cedar Point Apartments
When: Saturday, Aug 5th, 2023 Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Where: Cedar Point Apartments 6514 Suburban Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609. The community apartments where the event will be held host approximately 450-500 families from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. Majority are refugees. We anticipate that at least 150-200 people will attend the event.
This free medical fair is brought to you by North Raleigh International Baptist Church, Duke Raleigh Cancer Center, WMU NC, and Well Wishers.
We will have a variety of health screenings and resources available, including:
- Head and Neck Cancer screening and education
- Blood pressure checks
- Cholesterol screenings
- Glucose screenings
- Mental health screenings
- And more!
In addition to the above, we will also host a food drive and school supplies drive. The items will be distributed to the community. We will have a talent show in the afternoon to celebrate the different talents in the community.
