God’s heart is for the nations and in Psalms 86:9 the Bible says that “All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name.” We believe that God is calling the nations to worship Him and He is moving through the children. Our young church has been growing in a community in North Raleigh reaching around 20 nations who mostly came to the United States as refugees.
Our Theme vision this year is to Launch out into the deep and let down our nets for a catch (Luke 5:4).
Our Sunday gatherings unite community members from various nations, inviting them to join in worship and communal prayer. We celebrate diversity by embracing a range of worship styles that reflect our multifaceted congregation. Recognizing that many of our church members do not have access to transportation, we allocate the initial two hours of our worship service to provide transportation, and likewise, the final two hours every Sunday are dedicated to safely returning them to their homes. Within the span of our worship, we also extend the warmth of God’s hospitality by offering nourishing meals or snacks from God’s Kitchen, a gesture that embodies the generosity of God’s abode.
Throughout the week, we embark on various ministry endeavors, including pastoral visitations. These visits encompass providing care and prayers to the ill within their residences, aiding in navigating everyday household tasks that necessitate language translation, such as driving Lessons and securing vehicle insurance. We also assist in facilitating a smoother adjustment to American culture and establish connections with state resources aimed at aiding their families. Additionally, we link individuals with social and communal support networks during challenging times.
Furthermore, we organize a multitude of community-oriented events, encompassing initiatives like food and clothing drives, health fairs, children’s talent showcases, and the distribution of school supplies. These endeavors reflect our commitment to tending to the well-being of the community, as we fervently aspire to witness its transformation through the redemptive grace of the Lord.
Since our establishment, we have witnessed numerous individuals embrace the Lord and undergo the sacrament of Baptism. The growth of our students has been remarkable, and we have observed their parents actively engage with our endeavors. Along this path, we have fostered partnerships that prioritize a God-centered approach, bringing renewed hope to countless lives.
You also have the opportunity to actively participate in this journey. Contemplate contributing to God’s mission for the nations through your prayers, dedication of time, and generous offerings. We warmly invite you to become a valued member of our expedition, as we hold firm in our belief that the Lord’s guiding light will illuminate our path forward.
